We are the daughter company of a much larger group Emil Kiessling GmbH, established in 1948. Emil Kiessling GmbH is based in Germany and is owned by Reichardt International AG

1948 – From Brewery to Cosmetics Manufacturers

8th June 1948

As the owner of the “brewery Georgensgmuend” Emil Kiessling is asked by American officers what he needed to continue his activity. Kiessling responds with “grain”, not knowing the meaning of the English word “corn” (maize). At the end of the 70s Emil Kiessling added sun care to its product range with the sun milk, Ombra, celebrating a remarkable success right from the start.

Wella AG, and thus also Emil Kiessling GmbH, sold to the global consumer goods company, Procter & Gamble.

Waltraud Reichardt, owner of Reichardt group, acquires Emil Kiessling GmbH and sets up an ambitious R&D team, with the objective of developing market and trend lead products.

Martina Reichardt-Demirtas takes over the management and carries on her mother’s vision.
